It's not quite a mirror-image situation.

When the stock was going down, especially when it got into single digits, I knew there had to be a floor somewhere ("only 9 more points of potential downside.......only 8 more......only 7 more....." And, I was certain that the stock would rebound (timing very uncertain, which is why I bought the longest-term LEAPs available).

But, after this stunning run up, I'm not sure where the ceiling is, and I'm not certain we ever get any retrace. You (and me too) can make a very reasonable case for a big retrace (down to the 50DMA, for instance), but there is no certainty.
