True and I wasn't making a spelling point, I just thought the quote should be kept intact [even as language changes - but for all I know, you had the original quote and I've only seen modern adaptation].

For example, the quote you gave, would lose something if translated to ye moderne prose. The timelessness of some things is part of the moral weight they carry and the language conveys the strength. Something as solid and timeless as granite needs to be taken seriously.
