I don't know. Jobs and his people might consider it a little too much to change platforms AND not go with the gorilla of the new platform. Also, AMD has the stability and poor infrastructure support raps. It's like, in a similar vein, there are those that are getting quite adamant that Sun must switch, at least in part, to Itanium at sometime down the road. We know what McNeally thinks of Intel, although he spouts a lot more about Microsoft. It will be interesting on both counts.
