Read the other quote on the limits of language. I agree that CWG is not terribly popular in many quarters. If it resonates with you, that's great. If it doesn't, that's great too. For there is no "wrong way" to God, and each of us create our own pathway home.

Regarding change being the only constant, it is simply an observation. At one point humans were convinced that the Earth was "fixed" and the center of the universe. Then that idea changed. We then believed that the Earth moved among the "fixed stars". Then that idea changed too. Life is a process of growth and change. Without change there is no life.

God is intensely personal and that message comes through on every page of the With God books. You ask how do I know this? The answer is I choose to. I can discuss some aspects of why I make this choice, but I cannot cause you to believe or disbelieve me by such discussion, for your own free choice is inviolate. A wise theology professor of mine once said you cannot reason a man out of a position he has not reasoned himself into, and that always struck me as a very profound insight. If calculation were the key to spiritual truth then computers would be sages.

I welcome the opportunity to continue this dialogue whenever and however you wish.
