I think our revenue expense equation is out of whack. If Bush thinks we should cut revenue then it is up to him to cut expenses too and not just raise the debt ceiling. I know he's busy looking for scapegoats but it is he and he alone who should do what it takes to keep the country solvent. Instead it appears his goal is to see how much money he can bleed out of the system for himself, his family, and his friends before leaving the rest of the country to their cat food retirement plans.
