Humm, when I went, the average (FL) state university had a grad rate of incoming freshmen of 30-35%. I specifically remember this. I guess the kids are smarter now.

I can understand why private tuition would have a higher rate of graduation.

Where did you come up with the 41% for UM football players, BTW?

I've heard of graduation percentages in the 90s about Penn State and I think Stanford, but I don't remember from what point they started. For example, from freshman year would be phenomenal, so it may be counted from when players made the varsity? Also, old saying about Stanford is that once you get in, they almost refuse to let you leave (or flunk out).
