I know it is hopeless, but one sometimes has to react. Anyway, Sowell is always good. There was a piece in National Review about 15 years ago that showed that the strongest factor correlating with homelessness was rent control, and that rent control was the main reason for the bombed out look of the South Bronx, as landlords abandoned buildings they could not afford to keep up.......

Great article. Liberals hate Thomas Sowell, but in truth, he embodies what they claim to want for every minority in America. The ability to rise to the top. But when people like Sowell and Thomas excel and live the American dream, liberals do nothing but put them down, call them names, and otherwise attempt to denigrate them. Condy Rice is a target also. People aren't free to be who they want to be with liberals. Liberals want them whining and crying and playing the injustice scam. Just so they can run up, pat them on the back and say, "don't worry, we'll take care of you because we're the only ones who truly know compassion".

"I feel your pain, Just keep votin for me"

Sickening.

PS; Way to go Mr. Sowell.

There seems to be an idea in the conservative community that if you can get someone to lend you money then it is just yours and there is no reason to pay it back. The federal debt sits like a blue whale in the white house swimming pool and you never notice and just assume that someone else's grandchild won't mind paying it off someday.
