Carlyle owns United Defense which manufactures weapon systems so they do manufacture and they do have money pushed to them, and it is direct. Carlyle=100% ownership of United Defense=manufacturer of army battlefield mechanized weapons.

Rumsfeld is not a politician,
What do you suppose are the chances that Rumsfeld and even his relatives will be offered plum positions in companies that make a lot of money off star wars? I'd like to be in Vegas with those odds.
