Check out the MDR chart during the period it experienced a similar asbestos scare as the current HAL situation (August '99 through March '00). Plenty of opportunity to make substantial short term profits.

White,

With HAL it was easy.

Great balance sheet and cash flow with very little short term risk on the dividend.

The dividend will support the bottom for now.

With a 6% yield and down 20% for the day, it was just a question of if we run out of sellers today or Monday.

With a strong finish today, most of the selling has dried up and the bulls take back over Monday.

If we didn't have a strong finish, it was time to dump at the close and watch on Monday.

My guess is we have a nice rebound on Monday.

Don't expect a dramatic rebound due to the continued uncertainty, but HAL was a fire sale today.

Love that smell of blood.

Jim
