JC, I agree with your opinion on Anand. BTW, one interesting thing concerning his SPEC CPU 2000 benchmark(s): He did it only once and that was when AMD introduced the AMD 760 DDR chipset (see anandtech.com. That was, of course, before the P4 was introduced and the Athlon won most benchmarks from the suite. If you have a look at his first Pentium 4 review (see anandtech.com you will notice that he didn't used it any more -- probably because it was just too much work as you suggested. So any claims of Anand being biased are completely off-base IMO. I am already looking forward to his Northwood review next Monday. Andreas

I think that in order to get a P4 test chip Intel strongly suggested which benchmarks to include in the tests. Even if wrong, when a benchmark comes out of the blue like SPEC it should be questioned as should all benchmarks, especially B0pco sysmark... OTOH, Anand is a winner. Plain and simple. Jim
