Unfortunately the SUV's are now more gas guzzlers than the station wagons were. As drilling for oil if it makes sense it should be done. I see no need to drill in Alaska, when there are plenty of places to get oil including the Arab states. Creating warlike friction and economic imbalance will not create peace only more hate and war. We as a nation consume something like 70% of all the energy in the world. Don't you think it is time we learn and become effective in efficient use of energy rather than use it like an alcoholic on a binge.
