Am I wrong that 2001 was a disaster? It started with an unemployment level of 4% and end with 5.8%. Two million people lost their jobs in 2001, and the twin towers are gone. Please explain to all those who lost their jobs and the dead folks in NY and DC why 2001 was not a disaster. And you can explain also why the most dismal stock market performance in any year since 1973 was good as well.
