OT Did anyone else have their cable system taken over by Comcast effective 1/1? I was with MediaOne, now Comcast. #!%king disaster. Internet outages, lousy tech support, and very slow connections. I'm switching to DSL ASAP.

re: Utilities... I started following Sy Harding who has had an excellent market timing track record this past year. He went long April 1st then got out and shorted during the summer top. Then he went long again early Oct and just recently took profits in ST positions. He timed the gold rally as well... He just gave a buy signal on IDU which he sees as a contrarian play, as you say. I'm not familair with the utilities industry. I know their are other funds or indexes to play. I did take a position in IDU.
