<some comment on GLDR, SLR, PLY, GEO and BGI>

BGI: hang tough, the royalty check from ASL will rerate the stock higher.

GEO: I'm using the firm bids lately to get out near the prices I bought at after the waterfall decline last fall. My earlier higher price position and loss was tolerable. Still a small chance for a white knight, but RCF (bad news outfit) is going to rape shareholders and why fight it. Lucky to get out alive.

SLR: Another questionable CEO who is experimenting with using the treasury to salvage his other sinking company, CRWN (41% shareholder in SLR). This one is tough to sell though because of it's fine properties and near net-net status (barely trades above working capital). If it wasn't for Herald I'd be all over this stock. Right now would rate strong hold, but watch this guy.

PLY: Have a small position left, sold most on the little run to 30. Could still be a very good prospect, money to explore further is a question mark.

GLDR: Probably going to take too long (unless POG/POC rallies), and just slowly burning through the cash. Got out of some at 90, wish I jettisoned it all. A tolerable hold, but source of funds for other plays. IP if you want copper exposure, or CTQ if it comes back (below 72).

Best buys: Southernera (SUF); below 2.70, El Dorado (ELD): below 30. If GBG trades below 50-52 (US) jump on it.

Golden Goliath (GNG) looks special and we are all getting to like Mexico <g>. Tough to buy, use limit orders, stay in low 40's if you can. Savvy backers: Agnico Eagle, Prudent Bear, Jipangu, and big management stake. Market has not discovered this one as there is a market cap priced for no expectations: about US$4.5 m includes US$1.5 m cash. Go to their web site and just read through the targets they have. 20-24 hole drilling announcement coming:
goldengoliath.com

Example of just one target (San Timoteo) describes the location of an old working. One of the shoots lies within a flooded shaft 180 meters from the portal on the lowest adit. Samples from the tunnel average 1.97 g Au and 74.6 g Ag (afterthought to the old timers). Then they come across a high grade shoot 12-15 m wide that was mined for 55 m below the adit where they hit water and stopped. Outcrop above on surface returned high grade samples. A pile of mine waste (could use some modern methods for sure) at the portal entrance returned values like 55g Au/5501g Ag, 47g Au/3.5 kilos Ag. IP survey shows 350 x 500 anomaly at 60 m. That to me is a real promising target. In fact I can hardly restrain myself. Teck came through ST stating, "excellent candidate for surface resource of one million oz gold". FGX guessed 1.35 m oz 2 to 5 g Au, and 20-200 g Ag. There are four more similar targets at Uruachic. Lock and load.
