Agreed. When I posted before, I had not read all the author's comments. Now, I know to take his comments with a grain of salt, since he doesn't seem to have any idea what he's talking about. Still, the numbers are there, and providing that Sandra correctly provides 4 threads in the SMP + SMT test, Prestonia ought to perform much better. I does appear to be an application issue, since Hyperthreading works fine with SMP disabled (one physical CPU with all configurations, and two virtual CPUs with Prestonia).
