IIRC, mobile Nrothwood is supposed to be in the 25-30 watt range. Now I feel that is still too high, but both AMD and Intel seem to think there is a market for that amount of power consumption. Note: That is a typical maximum, since both AMD and Intel processors should have equivalent (or at least close) power management capabilities it isn't quite as bad as it looks. But present processors can heat up your lap to an almost uncomfortable degree...

Uh, zee, did you see that blue thingy in my post. If you put your cursor on top of that and do what we in the sciences call "clic" it, it will take you to the article thru the magic of the web.

In that article they discuss the heat dissipation issue. They seem to indicate that the P4M will be 30W, I think, but that is where you should direct your comments to.

Sorry for the dangling preposition but I was in a hurry and didn't have time to edit it; I did not wish to offend.
