the "symbol count limitations" is what keeps data flowing to each and every user real-time.
if qcharts would put in such a limit, it would help their data thruput stay more realtime.
bandwidth is not free as qcharts users know painfully well.

eSignal Direct Connect & Speed ...

drsvelte, OX explained it well. Its to insure fast delivery of all quotes. Some vendors queue up quotes to handle the volume at peaks.

By the way, we now have a London quote ticker plant online. All the new European exchange data is directly sourced to insure the quality and speed of the service.

drsvelte,

One more quick thing to add about our symbol counts. We've made the process of deleting symbols from the Data Manager smoother in recent releases and in version 6.2, we've added a symbol counter on the Status bar. Both of these improvements make managing your symbols quite a bit easier.

Thanks,
Scott J.
