Yeah, where IS Cheney. The latest news about him is re: his vice presidency of Halliburton. The only picture I could find just now is an archived one. The PResident tells us all to get back to normal; things are improving and yet his vp remains in hiding for his "protection". That's a double bind schizo message he's sending to Americans. The latest theory I've heard is that Cheney's demise would put Colin Powell into the number 2 position and that would undermine Bush's chances for re-election. They tried sending Powell to Afghanistan, which seems like a dangerous thing to do to Number 3 in line. Cheney's mysterious absence is unsettling to say the least.
