"The ego is in love with its OWN view. Anything else is threatening, and opposed."
That statement in itself would seem to prove what you assert, but alas, the whole system is terribly self referential. There is no way to really know whether all egos are in love with their own views, or not. And further, you'd have to define all those words first. The ego might be in love with its own view. But when you look at it more closely this is just another one of those proofs that lead you only as far as you are willing to go. Or so it would seem to my ego. Does the above speak for your ego? If so perhaps you should say "My ego is in love with its own view...etc"

If it were me I would say "My ego might love some of its views some of the time, but on alternate Weds it hates them........."
