Happy New Year bar mates.

the bus ride from phoenix to guaymas
took 10 hours, not 7 1/2 like they said
but it was okay - no chickens on board. the
best part though was seeing polvie's smiling
face as we stumbled off. he and kath came
to pick us up.

the bus ride back to phoenix took all night
we left at 9:45 pm - it was at least 420
hours long.

everything in between is a tequila haze.

you'll have to get the stories from the master
but as he saw us off on the bus i think i heard
him yell -

"what happens in san carlos, stays in san carlos"

.... and folks, that's okay with me - vbg indeed!!

Hey, Scott, thanks for both those articles. ROTFLMAO at the winner. My most "personal" one happened about 14 years ago; some flatlander from the Bay Area had traveled up to one of the nearby lakes, and stumbled across a baby rattler. Trying to be clever, and not seeing any danger, he kissed it. It kissed him back. On the lips. Dead. Boom. My son,who was about 12, read about it in the paper and said, "Hmmm, looks like Darwin still works".
