Yes, I'd thought of that. 6 weeks inventory for each of CPQ and HWP would be a full quarter of sales for AMD. I don't think so.

I'm not trying to throw stones at INTC alone here. I think both companies are making volume numbers by having fire sales at the end of every quarter.

I think it's bad for both companies and not particularly good for the industry either.

But it is good for the consumer who should be able to figure out that about 2 weeks after each Q ends there are some fine bargains around.
