Dennis,

I'm hardly a Microsoft fan, but the article may be a bit harsh regarding the method for accessing the find file utility via Microsoft Office. I've been using Word for years, and my recollection is that the find file utility was incorporated in Word (for both PC and Mac) long before you could do a string based search from the OS. Older Macs in particular had an OS find function that would only return one file for each search-- not even a list of all the files that met the criteria. I used the Word function many times to find what I needed on my Macs. It may not be "needed" anymore for finding files with the OS improvements, but I think you can still do things within Word you cannot do from Windows Find.
