I wasn't and didn't link Bush and his popularity at all to Hitler. What I said was that Reagan's greatest quality was his ability to a great cheerleader and have a positive attitude. Then I unfortunately said that Hitler rose to power by being a great cheerleader as well. The point was that it takes a lot more than being a good cheerleader to be a successful President. I should have compared Reagan to Clinton they were the best Cheerleaders America has had since FDR or before. Then it would have caused even greater discontent.
