Not today it can't, but a couple of hundred years ago "logic" also couldn't explain many other things, such as disease, electricity, evolution, or anything else...

OT - the care I received from the surgeons and staff, especially during two weeks in Intensive Care were awesome. I'm sorry if it seemed I slighted them.

(I see this should really be addressed to JC and others who criticized my original post, since I agree with everything Milo said.)
