It reminds me of a small child playing with a dangerous firework

Yeah, I was going to tell you guys to get off this when it was first posted. It is the most explosive social issue in this country, and cannot be discussed rationally. When Murray first published his book, I followed a lot of the TV discussions that had him on, and they were really bitter.

If you follow back on the "Home" links that page is on, you will get some real KKK stuff.

PB, it was originally posted to show where 'military intelligence', minimum 117 [or maybe it was 119] for the group being discussed at the time, fitted into the standard deviancy of people. I pointed out that a small proportion of melanin-rich people met that criterion.

Whoever it was saw 'Bell Curve' and started bleating, as you say. Losing sight of the original point.

Now we all know that everyone on earth has identical intelligence at birth and it's only educational, experiential, environmental, blah, blah, blah that makes anyone different.

Any groups are all identical too even though they lived for thousands of years separately from each other. Their DNA drifted in all other respects, but not the intelligence components. That DNA was NOT subject to mutation, sexual selection or being killed in nature, red in tooth and claw.

There isn't even a 0.001 top of the bell curve difference in IQ as a result of groups having wildly different lives for thousands upon thousands of years.

Yep, we are all the same. Anyway you measure us. If you measure tall people versus short people, their top of the IQ bell curve points are identical. If you measure fat people and skinny people, same again. All DNA correlates perfectly with IQ DNA and the bell curves all match, right at the top.

If the tops don't match that is absolutely definitely NOT anything to do with DNA and we do NOT need any proof of that and only racists would wonder why there are differences, try to measure them and figure out what it means.

We can prove it by saying it's not right to say it might be to do with DNA. Since everything else about us seems to be more to do with our DNA than anything else, it's amazing that DNA doesn't affect intelligence.

It sure is a weird old world.

It's a laugh how hot under the collar everyone gets because there might be group differences. How ideological and fanatical. As Lindy says, irrational. He says people can't be rational about it in discussion. Is that because of IQ?
