You're right...it doesn't count properly at all. Only if you really stretch the insight into the counts and frankly, one thing I have learned about EW is whenever you try to twist a count to look right, something much simpler pops up later on. Calling this move off the Sept lows after a very clear 3 wave down move is forcing a count with a little EW voodoo and it shouldn't be necessary.

It amazes me though that this is completely ignored by some, especially people like Wolanchuk who is calling this the 3rd wave up and has even gone as far as saying the DOW won't close below 10,000 again now. There is a simpler resolution to the counts and right now it is still saying that the next move is down, crash or not.
