Well, many of those were used cars, and I'll bet half of those 15 were in my first 10 years of driving, when I was poorest and shopped cheap. The VW bug and Rambler American lasted less than 6 months each. The Chrysler was brief as it went to my ex in the divorce.

I owned the Chevy van, the Chevy Impala station wagon, the Nissan Maxima (it was called the 810 back then), the Datsun 200SX, and the Ford Falcon the longest... each from 4-6 years. The two Chebbies were around 300K miles when I sold them, and the Nissans between 150K and 200K. Can't tell on the Falcon; it had two transmissions and was at least 250K.
