So do you think your local cops should be allowed to haul you in for "questioning" and beat the st out of you until they either killed you or got you to confess to whatever they wanted? Is your next question going to be, "So have you stopped beating your wife yet? -- yes or no?" I have more confidence in our law enforcement agencies than you apparently do. In any case, my opinion doesn't count for much. However, my own general opinion is that our Constitutional safeguards need to be re-adjusted more in favor of protecting the right to safety of our law-abiding citizenry, and less to protecting the rights of law-breakers.
