Preparatory Committees have been meeting for years, developing the agenda and planning for the huge celebration. The last three days are to be devoted to "world leaders," who will adopt the various documents presented at the meeting. Like the Millennium Summit held in New York in 2000, this body of world leaders has no official authority, but its actions are taken by the U.N. as moral authority to move the U.N. agenda forward. worldnetdaily.com Did you see this in the article. It can't happen a million years from now, but I don't think you were being literal. Jesus said it will happen "before this generation passes away" meaning the generation that sees the re-emergence of Israel as a nation. So the generation born in 1948 will not pass away before He returns. And it's shaping up very quickly now as that generation is getting long in the tooth!! No man knows the day or the hour, but we can see the signs and determine the seasons as Jesus said. If just one of that generation lives to 100 it could be 2048......if He tarries. But it doesn't have to be that long. I think it will be much sooner than that. But I could be proved wrong...I know that there has to be a system that everyone MUST be a part of in order to buy or sell anything, there must be some mark signifying participation in that system, the beast must be waging war against the saints and killing them, and there will be such tribulation so terrible on earth that there has never been anything like it before. Those are some signs that have to take place. When they do time will be very short, maybe just months left. Checking the progress of the mark system will be the barometer for the end, because once the last person on earth has decided to take or not take the mark the end will come. We will be taken up, and God's wrath poured out. I'm over 80 posts behind, I shouldn't stay away so long!!
