we also have Ford in trouble so we will see new lay offs there probably Chrysler is not going to meet expectations. For every uS 100 thousand you have invested in Argentina you now have somewhere between 60 and 65 thousand left due to debt conversion to peso (the peg has been lifted the rate is quoted differently from 1.35 to 1.40 pending on where you read. for every 100 thousand US invested they have just lost about 40 thousand dollars the debt ratio conversion was one on one.
From SCMP

United States investment bank Lehman Brothers is set to sign an agreement with Metrobank to set up jointly an asset management company to absorb bad loans, according to sources. Pennies on the dollar i guess.

It amazes me how Ford promo plan did not include profit promotion within.

Write off debts whoosh gone and the expanded money supply will shrink i think but with AG helping i am not to sure just where the shrinkage is except in business profit.
