TG, That is very true, the con game played by the priests to exploit man is very long standing. As we get more education we see what it is...crap, but we also see the society we are in and see how we have to conform to suck up to those in power over us, or with whom we wish some form of congress.
An interesting aspect is the way we vote when asked and how we truly feel.
When asked about 75% say they believe, when we watch the churches only 5% attend(2% in the UK).

It is fair to say that people who do not go to church do not believe, otherwise the fear of god would make them attend.

In small southern towns and other areas the attendance rate is higher. in NW it is lower.

As to ascribing god hood to the laws and interactions of matter in the universe...god the indifferent is that answer.

The funny thing is the way people try to challenge me, when I do not challenge them. I quietly fail to believe in their reliogion. When they find out, quite a few see it as a challenge. This in reality exposes their own doubts.

Some religions are intenselt supervisory and insist on 5 times a day public prayer so the priests can see who believes and who does not. persecution follows.
