What a huge failure of imagination and organisation. Maybe it's a world record of some sort.

Maybe Globalstar was set up by the CIA so they could lure Osama bin Laden into using it and then bug his phone calls. Sort of like when they got Howard Hughes to build the Glomar Explorer to fish out that sunken Soviet submarine.

Good Gracious Maurice, that Sisyphus story is HEAVY...no joke!
When I was in 5th grade the teacher told us to memorize any poem we wanted to . I memorized:
Invictus
by W. E. Henley
Out of the night that covers me
Black as the pit from pole to pole
I thank whatever gods may be
for my unconquerable soul.

Under the bludgeonings of chance
I have not winced nor cried aloud
In the fell clutch of circumstance
My head is bloody but unbowed.

It matters not how straight the gait
How charged with punishment the scroll
I am the master of my fate
I am the captain of my soul.

What a poem for a 10 year old to choose.
But now I am finding that my head is NOT unbowed, that I DO cry aloud and all that other stuff. And I am so disgusted and disappointed with myself that it has killed my lifelong cheerfulness.
So I guess I had/have made money my self=esteem. I've been trying to get out of that mode for a year now and have tried various "ways"...the most successful is zen practice, but my heart is not really right yet and (except when I am with my year old grandson) I'm acting happy while feeling sad. Or being bitchy altogether.
Sigh.
How did you find the right attitude to losing wealth? Or did you just have it?
Freeus
And I too can still afford gas for the car (have a new paid up van in fact that I really like driving) and the mortgage and etc etc so I'm not poverty stricken by any means. I even have money t9 invest and make money again if I ever figure our how. I guess that's the problem: the rock is not moving uphill and when it does it does indeed come down: I want it back up the mountain and staying there!!!!!
