My Values are based on my beliefs, which are based in the Truth.

Good Luck Bill, your conviction to yourself is very strong.

Religious 'value' are not value, they are aspects of control by the priests

Bill, that is simply wrong. To most people who hold them the religious values are sincerely held beliefs, they are values. And most of these values also are practical goods for society. Also few people are controlled by priests. Influenced perhaps but the distinction between convincing someone of some value or perceived truth, and forcing them to do something is important.

Nothing forces me to follow these rules, they are du-unto rules.

Nothing forces most people to follow religious rules either except in countries ruled by theocratic governments. True to a lesser extent religious people can seek to impose some of their values in to law in non theocracies but so can people with other values or belief systems. The laws that used to exist in the US about stores not opening on Sunday, where mostly put in place for religious reasons but my main beef against them is the reduction in freedom that they cause. It doesn't matter to me if that reduction derives from religion, or from socialist ideas, or from radical environmentalism, or to benefit some company or individual who has the ear of powerful politicians. Its not that I am for "blue laws" I would oppose them, but I also oppose high taxes, subsidies for special interests, and radical environmental laws.
