Probably the safest investment coming from the digital photo trend is to short Kodak (only partly sarcastic)

I had been considering that. Does anyone know what percentage of their profits comes from film? Or any other film vendors (fuji, ilford?) who would also be affected?

I'm getting some great 5X7 prints from the Canon S110. As far as I'm concerned, 2.1 mega pixels is more than adequate for the snapshot crowd (me). Aren't there are a raft of them being offered for under $100?

The best things about digital photography are being able to take dozens of shots to get one good photo without having to consider film cost, and instant gratification. Imo, it's going to be a huge winner at the mass consumer level.
