Better Yet why dont you check this graph from Trim Tabs which shows Net Positive Money flow through the entire period of March 2000 while we were in a bear market.

Problem with you is your unwilling to deal with the integrity of the Spin you yourself create.

When there is Net Inflow and the market is going down there is only one way that can happen, prices in that case are being artificially changed by the methods of Obfuscating supply and demand. We still have a record open interest in Shorts outstanding, and had the same through 2000 / 2001 yet you present no case to account for this or how it can or will be reconciled. You might read closely what Trim Tabs measures...Liquidity. During the Bear Market Liquidity was being added during the period the market was in decline. How do you rationalize the disconnect between those facts and your fantasy?

There are still looming financial crisis in the wings and they are directly attributeable to the perponderance of derivative and short positions which are weights on stocks, despite these characteristics, not being accounted for in fact. I am buying Small caps today whose sales, earnings, and fundamental positions have gone up from 1996 by 100's of % yet, within the latest quarter the prices are exactly the same as 1996.

Does this tell you anything?

The stock market remains about supply and demand, where all action happens against a relative constant, the float.. Go ahead and paint your scenarios, but account for the whole reality, not just the parts which accomadate your interests.
