Daschle has no chance of repealing the tax cuts. He wants public attention to the issue and he is getting it. By 2004, many will realize what a huge mistake those tax cuts were - just like the Reagan tax cuts gave us $200 billion deficits as far as the eye could see. These tax cuts will give us huge deficits. So what? The boomers will see the significance when it is too late.
