Actually, I don't like the way the Democrats took over the Senate, but I do prefer not to
have one party in control everywhere. At least then, there has to be meaningful debate
and compromise before legislation is passed. I'm just a middle of the road kind of guy, I
guess.


If there were a statesman instead of a political hack as the leader of the Senate I would agree with you, but
instead we, the American people, have a demagogic charlatan in charge who would run the economy into the ground to further his presidential ambitions for 2004. All those still unemployed next election day should think long and hard which party to vote for. Of course with Hillary also seeking the presidential nomination in 2004 there may be blood in the aisles on the left.
