EDIT again: I took "up" to mean an up day close-open greater than any of the previous 10 days either up or down (ie. open(today)-close(today)> max(abs(open(dayX)-close(dayX)) where X is spans today-11 to today-1) I took "flat" to mean a move (abs(open-close)) of less than 10% of the "up" day Todd
