What a queer remark.

not as queer as you think. what kind of return do you expect out of QCOM? let's say 15% a year. i'd guess most QCOM fans expect at least 15% a year over a long period of time...

given a 15% discount rate to justify this, and with a $40 BILLION market cap, QCOM needs to start giving you $6 BILLION in annual profits THIS YEAR. if they don't do that, then they need to give you $6.9 BILLION next year. you can argue with me, but you can't argue with MATH!

i don't buy the idea of complaining that qcom is less overvalued than other pieces of trash out there (not that qcom is a piece of trash)...just because they're overvalued doesn't mean qcom is not!

The whole market is built on relative EPS valuations.

be careful. the road to bankruptcy is paved with the empty wallets of people who used that line to pay ridiculous prices for company B because company A was even more ridiculous. instead, i think it makes more sense to let math be your FRIEND as opposed to your enemy.
