Where's the $30/barrel or the $100/barrel oil energy crisis mongerers (lol) have been predicting. I think we'll have oil for a long time to come. There doesn't have to be anything inherently wrong with buying oil from outside the U.S. Trading, doing business all over the world is the name of the game. Even if Alaskan reserves were exploited, dependency on foreign oil would not abate.
