I have to wonder if it was C1 that was scammed, or if you had a call from the scammers -- you know, we just need to confirm your SSN or something. I'd be leery of either. If it's the former, I'd wonder how they got your correct phone number. Might be worth ordering your own credit report to see what's going on, because you can get screwed by statute of limitation laws if you discover too late (thanks, corrupt politicians).
