I, for one, have been looking at purchasing a G4 tower but all that changed today. For a fraction of the price, I can have it all with an iMac. I suspect PowerMac interest will take a backseat from iMacs for now until they come up with the G5 chip. Who knows when that will be! Probably sooner than we think. I've made the same decision too. It's hard to pass up on a G4-based machine with an LCD included and for much less than the PM. I won't be upgrading the graphics and I could add HDDs through FW even if not ideal. Every day Apple delays PM upgrades, they'll miss out on sales as many may not go the iMac way and just wait it out.
