There are oil wells all over southeastern Ohio and people farm on and live on and you can drive around and not find a puddle of oil anywhere. The country is beautiful and pristine with several designated wild and scenic rivers. Anyone who thinks oil production is polluting hasn't seen it.

You don't have to call it hypocrisy, I call it another view. Sure Alaskans would like to see oil development, and I don't blame them. But I would like to see the preservation, as much as is reasonably possible, of wild and natural places. It's just a view, and many people share it. Hey, wants its gone, it's gone forever.
