I love this quote in the article.

"All of which brings to mind Winston Churchill's dictum that it is outrageous to hold ourselves to the narrowest possible interpretation of the law while we fight against enemies who, if victorious, will destroy any hope of a world based on law."

Reminds of those claiming profiling when we inspect certain groups of people who "tend" to perform specific crimes. What are we suppose to do? Monitor and search a mother with four children from Iowa while others walk by?

If Congress were serious about taking the war to Iraq — and no more suitable target can be imagined — it would demand that Secretary Powell explain in detail why the State Department's leaders should not be held in contempt of Congress.

Now this writer really has a very cool head. (g) You can see some writers just about to explode in rage before your very eyes. Looks like this one just exploded.
