Jeffrey,
Good chance that this Forbes article is a contrary indicator. By the time that 'everyone' is invested in REITs, the peak may be approached. Still, I think they are undervalued compared to other investments, it's just hard to see the prices go up when earnings growth is stalling out. The REITs that are financially strong and have a lot of debt coming up for renewal, should be able to make significant long term strides by refinancing at fantastic rates. This window is likely to be opened only for this year, (barring outside factors like 911).
