Hello Bilow, DRAM manufacturing is really cursed by the combination of commodity and rapid cost decrease driven by technology progress. Staying at the leading edge of technology has such tremendous implications for cost competitiveness, which in turn has such tremendous implications for your ability to continue upgrading your technology. Can you think of any other commodity like it? Ulf P.S.: Then again, the combination of commodity and rapid technology obsolescence is also what makes it interesting for investment, fun to be involved with and it's even good for the consumer :-)
