Just a small little bitty clarification.....
It's "His Light" that shines.
The "glory of God" is within all of us, but the paradox - the log that trips everyone up the most - is the possessive phrase "let your light shine."
I believe this world is fed up with this conditional, possessive, selfish - on again off again, bright to fade and fade to bright - relative "light."
Marianne has to finish with the final clarification....

"WE" are powerless. Without Him we are nothing. This is His Energy, His Light and His Love that Marianne is referring to after all.
Now if I attempted to lay claim to His Energy, His Light and His Love it's a lock cinch that the spector I'd be raising before myself and others would be goulishly conditional and full of all the same egoic crap that seeks to define, limit, lable in order to claim, get and control His Energy, His Light and His Love.
The circle of inversion/perversion would be complete and another Black Hole that feeds the larger Black Hole would be created and fueled, etc.
Just thinking about the incredible illusory "power" that's behind THE LIE of these Black Holes is a pretty scary thought. So what we end up doing is simply NOTHING. We become passive viewers inside these Black Hole matrixes while others, unbeknownst to us, are claiming right and control over His Energy, His Light and His Love that is reflected through each ONE of us....
The early phase of the self-help New Age spiritual movement is filled with a lot of genuflecting self glorification. You will notice, however, that this movement has taken on a decidedly more spiritual tone over the past 10 years or so. Marianne Williamson's book is part of this change. I have it on my bookshelf, too.
Marianne didn't "create" that book. The Lord "created" that book using Marianne as a conduit for His purposes.
Does this mean that what Marianne says or I say or anyone says is to be used as a proxy for any person's understanding of the truth that's within our soul?
NO!!
Dean Fagerstrom has this very short snippet comment:
"There is no such thing as a vicarious experience."
Mankind believes in the illusion of "vicarious experiences" which rely on the continued mediation and regulation of these infinite truths, infinite energies, infinite light and infinite Love that comes directly from our Father in Heaven.
Why is this?
Because mankind cannot "create" anything.
If we are specifically talking about "creation" all mankind can "create" are black holes. And, by definition, Black Holes are NOTHING.....
Period.

It's important to humiliate the EGO so much that it is completely, totally and utter DESTROYED!!!!
I cannot "do" this. All I "can do" is admit to my utter and total helplessness and admit to the LIE about anything that "I" may happen to believe "I create."
The total humiliation that's required behind the death of EGO can take years. I went through this personally myself over a very long period of time. I went through ever phase of the deception before, gradually, layer upon layer of the refraction and spin was peeled away and I gradually can to "see" what was already to begin with: I AM!!!
But I cannot "do anything" in this process. All the credit for ALL understanding and knowledge must be credited to our Lord God in Heaven who CAN DO THIS.
Admitting this powerlessness is step ONE.
Being humble, open and willing to acknowleding being a FREE Partner with our Father in Heaven step TWO.
Step THREE is LIFE: LIVING and BEING this energy!! With NO hooks, bells, conditions, labels, definitions, restrictions or claims attached!!
For this is HIS Light.
This is HIS Energy.
This is His Love.
Marianne and all the self-help gurus that every were and every will be are just fine, but ultimately EVERYONE of these refractions and illusions of these vicarious experiences and guru-based understanding will have to be transcended.
For each single, individual soul stands before God our Father.....
...alone.
And we can "chose to receive" the idea of this being scary or we can "chose to receive" the idea of this being a wonderful, glorious blessing that's confirmed every second of every day in the way, through each ONE of us, He celebrates His Light, His Energy and His Love as we become ONE in cooperation with Him, in Him, by Him, for Him and in Him, etc.
ZERO/NO claim.
ZERO/NO refraction.
ZERO/NO mediation.
His Energy.
His Light.
His Love.
And we ALL may appear to stand ALONE.
And this all may appear to be scary.
But He is the ONE that connects.
He is the ONE that threads.
He is the ONE that duplicates, replicates and radiates this infinite tapestry of energy, light, Love and goodwill that contains infinte mercy, infinite forgiveness and contains ZERO/NO limitations or conditions.
For each single, individual soul stands before God our Father.....
