Yessum, boss man don't like uppity, do he?

You are offending by my trying to write in a precise manner, I'm offended by your continuing to respond without sufficient understanding of what you are reading.

I'm actually quite good at explaining complex systems to people in non-technical language and I do it every day. I'm good at it basically because understanding these systems has been every bit as difficult to me as it is to most people. Unfortunately, most people really aren't interested in stretching their brains much, they'd rather come on a forum devoted to the market and simply make jokes. I've contributed quite a few myself.

But then, some people are actually interested in reaching a higher level of understanding about markets. Unfortunately I hear from them in PMs because they see how anyone with a public opinion that contradicts the prevailing wisdom on the threads basically gets shot at.

Me, I ain't afraid of being shot at....I've been shot at my whole life for saying things people don't want to hear and don't agree with.

I'll tell you what a great teacher of mine said to me years ago when I complained about the way he spoke to me, the words he used. He said, "Next time I tell you something that contradicts what you think maybe I should come up beside you, pat you on the ass and whisper it in your ear, would that make it nicer for you?" I still laugh when I think about that. The truth is nobody likes being told they are wrong regardless of how its presented to them....unless of course they are actually trying to learn something instead of show everyone how much they know.
