I too was using Glucosamine tabs and then I was informed by some good old boys out here in the country that they were using the stuff that they mix into their favorite old horse feed -MSM. I was directed to buy it down at the local feed store where it comes in a 16 oz. plastic cylinder for $20. I use about 1/4 tsp. per day mixed with juice, but it is tasteless so with plain water makes no diff. So now I am using both.

Checking it out on the PC search engine, I discovered others around the world were using it also. Meanwhile I described it to my Doc and he said, "Well, if it works, use it." Then last week I was roaming around Costco looking for free food samples and lo and behold discovered a stack of bottled MSM tablets (not as cheap as mine) so I guess the whole world is on to MSM - which is the Mother of Glucosamine (some chemist tells me).

All I know is that my bi-lateral hip implants are still grinding smoothly, and my low back ache is not getting any worse, and nobody has tried to throw a saddle on me yet.
