Well I think that the 280z was the prettiest of the series. The 240 was what caught everyone's eye, and then they built it out just right with the 280, but (sorry) I think the 300 was the victim of car bloat.

Like when they made the Thunderbird, it was great, but 20 years later they had added so many things and lengthened it, it turned into just a family car. They seem to do that to all the cars. It starts out one way, then after about 15 years they end up being bloated out so much, they don't even resemble the original idea.

IMO the Corvette is the same thing.

We had a 63 vette in the family, and it was a 'cool" car, now, IMO now they aren't even close to the original idea.
